The dust hasn’t even reconciled more on X of Swords, the massive 22 -part crossover of all of Marvel’s mutant-centric entitles that wraps up today, and Marvel is already teasing what’s next for the merry monstrosities. The publisher has liberated a teaser persona and intelligence for Reign of X, the umbrella mention for the upcoming slate of legends for the X-line, which includes X-Men, X-Factor, X-Force, New Mutants, Excalibur, Marauders, Hellions, Wolverine, and the forthcoming S.W.O.R.D. series.
Here’s the teaser, by master Mahmud Asrar( Marvel did not credit a colorist, but it’s likely Sunny Gho, as he’s been colouring Asrar’s X-work of late ).
For the past few months Marvel’s solicitations have included fuzzy word for all of the X-titles named for secrete following X of Swords. With the event now over, more details have been exhausted on what’s in store for each sequence next month, including the first issue of new sequence S.W.O.R.D. by Al Ewing& Valerio Schiti, and brand-new columnist Vita Ayala’s debut as new ongoing scribe for New Mutants 😛 TAGEND
HELLIONS# 7 by writer Zeb Wells and creator Stephen Segovia will explore the aftermath of the team’s brutal massacre in X of Swords.

Kate Pryde and Emma Frost ultimately ratify their long-awaited revenge on Sebastian Shaw in MARAUDERS # 16 by novelist Gerry Duggan and master Stefano Caselli.
Mutantkind causes their sees on the galaxy and beyond in columnist Al Ewing and artist Valerie Schiti’s groundbreaking S.W.O.R.D.# 1.

X-Force will stop at nothing to protect Krakoa, even if it wants asking their own, in the action-packed X-FORCE # 15 by columnist Benjamin Percy and Marvel’s Stormbreaker artist Joshua Cassara.
And Cyclops makes a fateful decision regarding the future of the X-Men in X-MEN # 16, written by Jonathan Hickman with art by Phil Noto.
Unsurprisingly, the most direct follow-up searches to come in the pages of Excalibur and X-Men, designation written by X of Swords architects Tini Howard and Jonathan Hickman, respectively. Zeb Wells& Stephen Segovia’s Hellions looks like it will likewise instantly follow that successions’ XoS tie-ins, though those two issues( which, made very clear, were phenomenal) had relatively little to do with the actual event and more to do with the conventional Mr. Sinister Shenanigans.
Perhaps of most note for Reign of X is a new creator who appears to be joining the fray. Prior to its secrete by Marvel, writer Si Spurrier shared the teaser likenes on Twitter 😛 TAGEND

It’s unknown at this degree what volume Spurrier may be working on for the X-line, though Twitter opinion points to the long-teased X-Corps series.
